Flesh
1998
Metal, enamel, ham or salami, and knifes
210 x 85 x 25 cm
This piece was part of the show's vernissage from the interaction with the public. Spectators could eat ham and salami from the breast of the piece, participating in an unconscious performance of a symbolic representation of desire and violence. In this way, the piece was interested in calling attention to the behavior toward the female body's representation, and in highlighting a social phenomenon like prostitution.
