This work is a conceptual manipulation, having a lot of meanings related to the duality regarding economic and political matters. It consists on an assemblage of two different coins (Quarter, Dollar; and 20 cents, Cuban Peso). The image of both heroes are conected, and the language is also mixed; José Martí appears with G Washington´s hair, and the Cuban slogan "Patria o Muerte" (Homeland or Death) is transformed into "Homeland of America".
