Old speech

This work, consisting of audio equipment and public address devices such as speakers and microphones, was submerged beneath the sea for six months. The surface ageing and patina resulted from the materials’ natural interaction with the environment. The installation features photographic documentation of that process, and it is staged as an archaeological space to provide a metaphor of the obsolescence of ideologies and political systems.
