La acción consistía en la realización entre dos artistas de una línea circular de textos sobre la arena. Cada uno de ellos usó un par de sandalias de bronce, con una inscripción a relieve en la parte inferior, con las palabras ARTE y VIDA. Cuando ellos caminaban sobre la línea circular de arena, la huella de la palabra ARTE se superponía constantemente sobre la huella de la palabra VIDA, y viceversa. Después de terminada la acción se apreciaba el objeto y las huellas como una instalación.
